Dead Beat Dads Fantasy Football is a fictional, fantasy football league where users utilize their DBD Fantasy Football NFTs to participate. Each season lasts anywhere from 7 to 14 weeks, and includes a Regular Season and Playoff. Single elimination until a champion is crowned for the Beer Bowl.
Before the season starts, NFTs are minted. These NFTs are used for only ONE season.
There are 7 positions (QB, RB1, RB2, WR1, WR2, TE, and DEF), and each week, managers will submit their lineup by delegating one NFT at each of these positions. It is optional to also submit a lineup with a Trophy Wife or Mascot to boost points for your team.
Matchups are randomized each week of the Regular Season. Scores are calculated using a formula with NFT stats and random luck. Team scores are the sum of position scores, and the highest score wins the matchup. This continues until Playoffs, where the top managers face off in a single elimination style bracket. Rounds continue until 1 remaining team wins!
Each season brings a new collection with unique traits and stat combinations.
Think of mint day as your fantasy football draft day! You'll have a chance to mint new players each season. The game never gets stale!!!
Managers mint player and defense cards, each with randomly selected stats, positions, teams, player names, and more.
Collection size and mint cost will vary between seasons.
There will NOT be NFT rankings for any DBD Fantasy Football collections.
Secondary Royalties will be set at 10%.
Mint funds go towards the Prize Pool.
